Mandy B. trip to Chile

This week I went on an amazing trip to Chile!!! We went and looked at the Easter islands heads on horseback!! It was way fun!:) Did you know that they have bodies? We didn't see them because they are under the ground. They are massive!! They are like 4 times bigger then me!!!  They must be really heavy because they are pure stone! They make cool shadows when the sun hits them right. They are kinda of creepy though it looks like somebody is creepin on you.

We also went and saw the straight of Magellan and the beautiful beach. The straight of Magellan is where Ferdinand Magellan found the first route around the tip of Africa. The straight of Magellan is so pretty. It has the bluest water you will ever see the beaches has really white sand and the islands are so pretty with there big exotic plants and animals!!! Like the beautiful Commerson's dolphin.

One of the last thing we did was we went looking for dolphins on the Curdilla Darwin Expediciones.
The dolphins like big bowls of rubber. They feel so cool and they let you ride on the nose of two dolphins with one foot on each nose they push you up and than you are in the air. Kind of like flying.

The Best Trip Ever

I just came back from my awesome trip from Argentina! I had so much fun. It was easily one of the best vacations I've had in a long time. I went to many sites within Argentina and had a blast being there.

The city, Buenos Aires, was one of the highlights of my trip. There was many unique things to do in the city. There was a lot of unique shops that sold interesting items. There also was a lot of museums ranging from art museums to music museums. For most of the meals I had a variety of different meats and had barbecue. For example, I had a full ribcage, hanger steak, and a rump flank steak. It was a massive city that was energetic and a lot of fun.

I saw many sights at Iguazu' Falls in the region Litoral. I did a lot of hiking there to see amazing sights. Just like Buenos Aires, there was a lot of meat to eat for meals. The most fun I had there was hiking down the rivers there, though fiestas and carnivals were a lot of fun too. This was a fantastic place for me to visit and probably you too.

The last place I went to was the Perito Moreno Glacier in the Patagonia region. This place is filled with mountains and I decided to go skiing down the highest mountain. It was sure a lot of fun while the national parks were pretty exciting. For the food, there was a lot more fruit than I expected. However, there was still meat except this time I had barbecued lamb.

The trip to Argentina was a blast and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to go to an exotic new place. With many sites to see and visit, Argentina is one great vacation to have for anyone. I know I had a great time there and it was one of the best vacations I have ever had.

                                                     Argentina

The other day I went to Argentina with a couple of my best girl and guy friends. The flight was real long (about a little more then twelve hours I think.) But it was worth it to see all the amazing sites we went to. I remember that we had gone to this one area called "Palacio San Jose." We had took a bus part or the way but we had to walk 3mk the rest of the way. By the time we got to the actual place my feet were so sore and tired. But it was just so pretty to walk through and see. We walked through the back garden and it was gorgeous. The palace itself was magnificent. The outside walls were this light pink color and I love the color pink so I was in love with the palace.

The next day after we went to Palacio San Jose we traveled up the mountains and went to Catherdral Atla Patagoina, an amazing skiing resort. It wasn't every crowded up there at all and had great tree routes. But the snow was a little spotty. There were patches of dirt in a lot of places. But when storms hit. It was fantastic. The hills would be covered with fresh, thick, clean powder. The mountain was pretty big and the terrain for pros and experts were fantastic and had lots of variety. Some of the chutes would definitely get your heart racing.

We were so tired after a couple days skiing but the sites were amazing. I know we went to a park. Iguazu National Park to be exact. It was just.... Wow..... It was a site to see. The park was a bunch of waterfalls. But these waterfalls were so. Pretty. They were unlike any waterfalls I had ever seen. The park was divided into three different places to walk through and enjoy. It was a lot of walking though, and I mean a lot. If I were I would bring my own water bottle because the place is very expensive. When my friend and I had went. We ended spending like fifty bucks on water. Which sucked really bad. You get a little wet from all the water but it is so worth it in the end I would definitely recommend this place. But soon we all had to go back on our plane and go home. The trip was really fun though and I think if you get the chance you should go.

My Trip to Ecuador!

My trip to Ecuador was amazing, partially because I was only one of the few who visited. That means I got through the lines very quick, and easy! I went to the jungle and saw a few animals like this monkey. I'm lucky he didn't see me, I got a perfect shot!

The culture in Ecuador is amazing. They still have a lot of personality traits they had when explorers had just come to the Americas. Ecuadorians are mainly Roman Catholic, so they have a few monasteries there. Most of Ecuador's villages are in the jungles or on the sea.

Next I went to the Central Bank Museum. It was amazing!
Traveling to this museum while your in Ecuador gets a big
huge YES from me! They have only a few exhibits, but they all
have soooooo much in them. This museum was quite
exciting for me, you should definitely visit it.

                                                                        Peru

On the airplane to Peru there was alot of people it was crazy! On the flight we first landed in Brazil then took a tiny plane to Peru because it was cheaper than a straight flight. The man who flew the tiny plane was Peruvian  he didn't understand English but he knew where we were going. He spoke Quechua.

Today I visited the Lake Titicaca it is a beautiful deep blue lake I was riding on a reef boat made by a family.I visited Limu which is the capital of Peru .There was lots of heavy traffic and poverty in Limu also there was pollution. Limu could be a place to avoid.

Machu Picchu is the place to go it is so spectacular it is the lost Incan Empire. If you can only go to one place in Peru go to Machu Picchu. There are over 50 burial sites and 100 skeletal remains that have been found. I love Machu Picchu!!!!!!!

My Trip to Venezuela

Last week I took a wonderful trip to Venezuela.  There are so many great things there. It really was the best vacation I've ever taken... by far!

The first thing I did when I got to Venezuela, was to go to the beach.  The beach I went to is called El Yaque.  El Yaque is located in Margarita, and is filled with fun things to do.  One of the best things I did on the beach was taking a banana trip, which is a banana shaped canoe.

The next thing I did in Venezuela, was visiting Angel Falls.  This fascinating waterfall, drops from a table top mountain over 100 meters!

The last thing I did in Venezuela before it was time for me to come home, was visiting the Andes Mountains.  The highest point in Venezuela is "Pico Bolivar",which is in the Andes, and has an altitude of 5002 meters above sea level.  While there, I took a cable car through the Andes, which I have to say, was a little scary, but definitely worth it!

My trip to Venezuela was wonderful, so when it was time to leave, I was sad, though when I got home I was glad to be back!

Peru the best place to go on vacation
                                                      by Zoie P.
Peru is a beautiful place to visit if you go on vacation. it is close to Ecuador and Brazil and it is right next to the ocean so I went to the ocean a lot I went there this year during the summer and it is so beautiful. you can go and see really old and cool Inca cities.

When I was at Peru I went on really long and cool adventures. One of the activities that I did was zip lining. it was down hill and it felt like you were flying. The second thing that I did was go surfing and I went on the biggest waves that I have ever seen. the third one was surprisingly mountaineering. the mountains that I went on was the Cordillera Blanca they are the second tallest mountains in the world.

The food there was the best that I have ever had. It had so many different flavors. one of the two best dishes that I had when there was the Pachamanca. Pachamanca is roast cooker over stones underground. the second delicious dish that I had was the Ceviche. Ceviche was really good even though I usually don't like fish, but they made it in a way that i have never tried. It is made out o raw fish that is marinated in lemon juice.
