My Trip to Brazil By Gabby K.

I went to visit Rio, Brazil for a nice vacation. It was a very interesting place to visit I stayed at a hotel near Christ The Redeemer. Christ the Redeemer larges Art Deco statue in the world. We went all the way up to this amazing statue. On the plat form you can look down on Rio it is one breath taking site.
We also visited the Centro Cultural Banco do Brazil or CCBB for short. This Museum has exhibition rooms, three theaters, a library, cinema, and a video room. We loved the lively feel there was so much excitement. The art was breath taking. There exhibits were very detailed. It was well worth my time to stop and take a look at the CCBB in Brazil. http://www.saferemovalslondon.co.uk/five-beautiful-rio-based-buildings/http://arrestedmotion.com/2009/05/close-up-os-gemeos-

The last stop I made be for I headed home was Iguazu Falls. It was on off the most beautiful tourist spots ever. There was lush forrest and exotic wildlife like parrots, toucans, macaws, spotted jaguars, monkeys, butterflies and vivid blooms of begonias and wild orchids. I got lost in its beauty. It is a chain of water falls almost as if they were steps. There were helicopter and boat rides, but I used the walkways along the side of the falls. It is a place that I would visit agin.

My Amazing Trip to Chile

http://www.ahautravel.com/2014/2014chautauqua_easterisland.htm
Chile is the most amazing place ever! I just got back from visiting Chile and it was so much fun. I went to the breathtaking beaches, & had fun looking for dolphins when doing Cordilla Darwin Expediciones. I also went horseback riding with a beautiful view of Easter Island.

Easter Island was the coolest experience ever. I had a blast looking at all the massive heads. My friend and I were trying to pickout our favorite one. The horses made the experience even better. It was my first time horsebackriding. Trotting around looking at the beautiful sunset was almost like a dream. I was wondering if this was really real. It seems to good to be true.

The beaches were my favorite part in Chile. Watching the amazing blue ocean swaying back and forth while soaking my feet in the sand and just simply relaxing. It was too good to be true. The amazing peace I got there was an amazing adventure in it's own way. The scenery was absolutely beautiful. I also had fun going on Cordilla Darwin Expediciones where I got to watch for dolphins. They were absolutely beautiful. The way they glide through the water without a care in the world is breathtaking. I can't wait to go back to Chile!

I recently went on a trip to the beautiful Uruguay. It had many amazing places to visit. Like beaches, stadiums, and an island off the main country. It was easily one of the best trips I have ever been on.

This was a beautiful part of town. The first place i went to was a beach called Punta del Este. I had a wonderful time relaxing and tannning on the beach. The next place i went to was Centenario Stadium. I had so much fun watching the futbol game. The final place was a small island called Isla de Lobos. I had a fantastic time exploring the shores. The food there was delicious. They had empanadas, chaja, and dulce de leche. Empanadas are a small pie or turnover. Chaja is a sponge cake with meringue and cream and peaches. And dulce de leche is a sweet treat made of cream and sugar. The clothes there were very interesting. They wore ponchos, and custom berets.

         This trip was really fun!

I went on an amazing trip to Uruguay! It was the best trip ever and I had so much fun. I got to see many amazing and unique places. I traveled to some of the most known tourist sites Puanta del Este, Centenario Stadium, and Montevideo Metropolitian Cathedral.

When I was at Punta del Este which is a beach. It was so beautiful and I had a fun time in the water with my family! The people
were weraing a completly different clothing style than we do here. All of the women wore long beautiful dresses, and the men wore dressy pants and button up t-shirts. In Centenario Stadium they played futbol, and i got to watch. They were amazing players and i for sure could never play as good as them! In Montevideo Metropolitan Cathedral church on Sunday and we got to meet all of the people. It was very interesting to get tio see all of the unique things they have there that are very different than what is here.

(Montevideo Metropolitan Cathedral)

While i was there I ate Chivitos, a traditional Uruguayan sandwich with sliced steak, ham, cheese, eggs and mayonnaise. Some chivitos also have bacon added to it. It was delicious! I wish i would have stayed longer and been abel to try more of the foods they have there. I also had a food called Panco. The Uruguayan “hot dog” of a frankfurter (sausage) in a bun (called Pan de Viena) which is then covered in ketchup, mayonnaise or sometimes mustard. I didnt like that one as mucg as I did the Chivitos.

I went to Ecuador the other day! It was sooooo much fun! While I was there i went to Floreana Island, it was absoluty beautiful!I also went to Sumaco National Park, I saw many amazing animals while i was there! Another place I went was Vulqano Park,I had a blast!!!!!!

Peru- Braden Heath

During my trip last month to Peru, South America, I did many unique things that are custom to Peru. Three of the main things that I did when I went to Peru were surfing, I went to the Jorge Chavez national airport, and I visited Machu Picchu.
First, when I went surfing, I saw lots of fish and shells. The waves at Peru are giant!! When I was catching a giant wave, it took me up so high that I fell off my board and plunged down into the water. Everybody thought that I was hurt, so they all came running out into the shallow water where I was laying there laughing. Surfing at Peru was so much fun.
Next, when I went to the Jorge Chavez National Airport, we saw so many planes take off over the water. I got to go for a quick spin with one of the pilots. Right when we took off, it looks like you are going to crash into a mountain side. When you go up and over the mountain side, it then looks like you are going to fall into the ocean. Seeing the airport was one of the most amazing things that I have ever laid my eyes on.
Finally, I went to a place called Machu Picchu. Machu Picchu was such a great place to visit because there was so much old ruins to look at and climb over. It was really fun to observe the grassy mountains and the villages. Visiting Machu Picchu was one of the most exciting experiences that I have and every will.
In conclusion, visiting Peru was so much fun, and I wish that I could do it again one day.

I went on vacation to brazil and I went though the forest. I got to see a red-and-green-macaw. The Green-winged Macaw, also known as the Red-and-green Macaw, is a large mostly-red macaw of the Ara genus. This is the largest of the Ara genus, widespread in the forests and woodlands of northern and central South America. I also got to see the Channel-billed Toucan, a rare bird. The Channel-billed Toucan is a near-passerine bird which breeds in Trinidad and in tropical South America as far south as southern Brazil and central Bolivia.

I’m in Brazil for a couple of weeks, Visiting family. My favorite thing about Brazil is the abundant fresh fruit, stuff you never hear about in the States. Shown here: figs, passionfruit juice, and atemóia, which is a hybrid between the cherimoya and the pinha. The flavor is sweet and wonderful and hard to describe, somewhere between a pear and a pineapple, and the texture is slightly chewy and fleshy like a lychee nut. I could eat these all day. I aslo tried a Gauva are plants in the Myrtle family  genus psidium, which contains about 100 species of the tropical  shrubs and small trees. They are native to Mexico, Centeral America, and northern South America. Guavas are now cultivated and naturalized thoughtout the tropics and subtropics in Africa, South Asia, the Caribbean, subtropical regions of North America, Hawaii, New Zealand, Australia and Spain.

When I went though the forest I also got to see lots of cool animals and plants. I didnt have a favorite animal or plant. I thought they were all so cool to watch. The wildlife of Brazil comprises all naturally occurring animals, fungi and plants in this South American country. Home to 60% of the Amazon Rainforest, which accounts for approximately one-tenth of all species in the world, Brazil is considered to have the greatest biodiversity of any country on the planet. It has the most known species of plants (55,000), freshwater fish (3000) and mammals. It also ranks third on the list of countries with the most number of bird species (1832) and second with the most reptile species. The number of fungal species is unknown, but must be huge. Approximately two-thirds of all species worldwide are found in tropical areas, often coinciding with developing countries such as Brazil. Brazil is second only to Indonesia as the country with the most endemic species.

I had to go adventure more so I went to the Inca Empire, or well...where it was. And it was so cool! I remember most things about it from World Civ. and seeing it was great! This vacation definetly satisfied me, it is just what I was looking for. Great weather, awesome attractions, nice beaches, cool animals, and beautiful nature! But anyways...here is a picture of the Inca Empire I went to. I hope you liked this blog. Thanks! :)

MY AMAZING TRIP TO VENEZUELA

Yesterday I visited Venezuela. It is so cool here! The first thing we did was we went to Angel Falls and tepuis of Canaima National Park. This is located in the jungle and savanna region of Gran Sabana in the south west of the country. It was so pretty there! We saw a beautiful waterfall that drops from a table top mountain! We stood beneath it and got soaked! The water was cold and refreshing, and we saw fauns, anteater, and otter. Sadly we soon had to leave.

We then drove to Los Roques Archipelago National Park. It had clear blue water and white sand. We ate a lunch of sandwiches, chips, juices, and fruit from a nearby cafe. It was perfect. We then got out our snorkels and went snorkeling among the reefs. I saw so many pretty fish, and sea turtles. It was like a hidden world, and was beautiful. We also saw a whole bunch of cool birds I had never heard of before.

Our last destination was Margarita Island. We took a boat to it and had dinner from the restaurants there. On the eastern part of the island there is shopping where I bought clothes, perfumes, and makeup. They all fit me perfectly. We then went through and saw a whole bunch of colonial towns. They were pretty cool. Finally, we hit the beaches. I boogie boarded, sunbathed, and played in the sand. It was so much fun. The western side of the island was where we hiked through the mountains, swamps, and lagoons. We hiked and had a blast until really late. We then had to leave, but I will never forget because it was literally the best vacation ever.
